Weight Loss is Easy if you know what it is!

Today I am going to talk about the science behind weight loss & how easy it is to understand weight loss.

Let’s get started.

Understand the basics

Before understanding whether it is possible to lose weight, let’s first have a look at the basics behind weight loss.

Weight loss science :

There is a misconception among people that weight loss is very difficult to achieve & it is rocket science!!

But from my personal experience, I can definitely say that weight loss is not at all any Rocket Science.

The only thing that you are lacking is knowledge!

So let’s quickly understand the science behind weight loss.

Whatever you eat throughout the day has calorie content in it, these calories are used by your body to carry out daily activities like breathing, walking, speaking, etc.

Let’s understand with an example —

Suppose you are consuming 3000 calories per day & you are burning only 2500 calories in a whole day.

In this case, you are supposed to be on a Calorie Surplus Diet.

And if you are burning 3500 calories per day then you are supposed to be in a Calorie Deficit Diet.

Before moving further you need to understand this small phenomenon

Whenever your body is on Calorie Surplus Diet, the extra calories are stored in your body in the form of FAT! Your body stores these calories so as to protect itself from any unfortunate situations like drought or disaster (just like a camel does)

Now you must be wondering why does my body stores extra calories?

There is a simple reason behind it, i.e. the main objective of your body is to Survive!

Your body doesn’t want you to be shredded!

Whereas on the other hand, when you are on a calorie deficit diet, your body is not getting enough calories it needs to carry out day-to-day activities!

So your body uses up the body fat to carry out day-to-day activities. And this results in Weight Loss!

Now, you might be wondering that it’s not that difficult to lose weight, all you need to do is go Calorie Deficit.

Yeah! It was that simple, all you need to know is that track your daily calorie consumption & monitor your diet according to it.
